About Riser & Panel
Riser & Panel is a job board for the fire protection trades in the US: sprinkler fitters, fire alarm technicians, and alarm and sprinkler inspectors.
It's run by Luke Corbitt. My family works in the fire protection trade, and I built this because good jobs in the trade are hard to find in one place, and the big boards bury them under unrelated listings.
How we list jobs
- Every job comes from the employer's own careers page, and we link back to it. We don't copy listings from Indeed or other job boards.
- We check each posting by hand and show the date we checked it. The current batch was checked on Nov 4, 2026. A listing drops off 30 days after its last check unless we re-check it.
- We show pay, union status, travel, on-call and NICET exactly as the posting states them. When a posting doesn't say, we show "Not stated" instead of guessing from the job title.
- We aren't affiliated with any employer on the board, and no employer pays to be listed.
- Pay context comes from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Licensing guides cite official state pages.
